KINSEY velvet 3-seater sofa

I've had this counch for 3+ years. The pros of this couch are the the velvet is very soft and nice to touch, and it does look good. However, the back cushions are kind of unbearable. Firstly, they are stuffed with feathers, meaning that the spiny quills often poke out the cushions and will absolutely be stabbing you. Secondly, I don't know if it's because of the feather stuffing or the lack of structure in the cushion/cover, but it constantly falls out of shape. It does not stay as a flat backing for the couch, but rather, tends to roll forward or become just a round log. This means that it reduces the available space you'd have on the seat because the cushion just bulges out.

I shopped extensively before buying this couch, and when I saw it (and sat on it), I knew it was the one. The price is extremely reasonable for the construction quality, and the colour selection for this model is delightful too. It is the star of my apartment.
